World Day of Remembrance Service 2026

You are invited to join Aftermath Support, Merseyside Police, Merseyside Road Safety Partnership and partners for the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims being held in Liverpool.
The World Day of Remembrance is a time to come together to remember those who have lost their lives on our roads, and to recognise all those whose lives have been changed by road traffic collisions.
This service offers a space to pause and reflect, to honour those we miss, and to stand alongside others who understand. It brings together bereaved families, those living with serious injuries, professionals and members of the community. Together, we remember the lives lost, and the lasting impact on those left behind.
Through readings and quiet reflection, the event offers time for us all to pause and remember.
Event Details:
Date: Sunday, 15th November 2026
Time: 2:00pm - 3:00pm
Location: Liverpool Parish Church (Our Lady and St Nicholas), L2 8TZ
Refreshments will be available following the service.
This is a multi-faith, inclusive service and all are welcome.
If you would like to attend, and/or have a loved one included in the remembrance, please register here: https://tinyurl.com/3praj87h
Any donations to help cover the cost of the service would be welcomed, with any remaining funds used to support Aftermath Support’s work with families in the Northwest affected by road traffic collisions. https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/wdor2026
Thank you to Liverpool Parish Church (Our Lady and St Nicholas) for hosting the service, and for welcoming people of all faiths and communities to come together in remembrance.
Your presence means a great deal, and we hope you can join us.
