Celebrate with World Book Day® at Ormesby Hall with an exciting weekend event including storytelling, poetry and book themed crafts, led by authors and illustrators.
Come along to Ormesby Hall on Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 March, with free entry to the house, garden, café and second hand bookshop. All of the activities over the weekend are free.
Activities include poetry sessions, storytelling sessions, creative writing workshops and an illustrative workshop with a children's book illustrator. There'll also be opportunity to meet an author and to make your very own bookmark to take home with you.
The half-term storybook character trail inside the house will continue over the weekend for all the family to enjoy. There'll also be opportunity to find new books which will be hidden around the garden and those who find them get to keep them!
The house is open from 10.30am to 4pm, with the World Book Day® workshop activities finishing at 3pm.
