Join us as we celebrate World Bee Day!
Honeybees often receive the spotlight in conversations about pollinators. However, Florida is home to more than 300 species of native bees that play vital roles in maintaining healthy ecosystems. This World Bee Day program celebrates and educates the public about these unsung pollinators—from the charismatic American Bumble Bee, to the industrious Leafcutter Bees, and even to one of Florida’s tiniest species, Poey’s Furrow Bee.
