Sling Tricky Transitions: Where the Magic Happens!
Friday 11/7 7:30 pm - 9 pm
Transform the "in-between" into the most exciting part of your routine!
Inject variety, surprise, and next-level choreography into every sequence.
This workshop is all about transforming your movement with dazzling, unexpected ways to get into and out of your favorite base poses.
We'll dive deep into creative transitions for common positions like Double Crochet, Crossback, and Corset. Learn to link your skills with fluidity, grace, and a dash of pizzazz that will take your choreography from "nice" to "WOW!"
Prerequisites: Students should be familiar with Double Crochet, Crossback, and Corset. Students should be able to do a 5-second flexed arm hang and be comfortable inverting from the ground or standing in the hammock.

Spanset Play: Above the Hoop!

Ready to ditch the steel and explore a whole new world of twisty, suspended shapes?
This exciting workshop is all about the spanset! Leave the lyra below and learn safe, stable ways to climb to the top and play entirely in the spanset above. We'll cover a variety of upright and inverted shapes, and fun transitions that will challenge your creativity and take your aerial vocabulary to new heights!
Prerequisites: All aerialists are welcome! For the best experience, please be comfortable with:
A 5-second flexed arm hang
A comfortable invert from seated in the hoop

Robin's journey to coaching wasn't typical - but what journey to the circus is? After dedicating years to becoming a bioengineer and working in healthcare, she executed a hard left turn and ran away with the circus.
Now, she brings a unique perspective to the aerial arts. Robin loves leveraging her understanding of physics to help students defy gravity on every apparatus. She has a special affinity for the aerial hammock, finding its unique challenges a perfect outlet for her problem-solving skills.
Robin's true passion lies in using her diverse background to empower all students, making the seemingly impossible, possible.
Her coaching experience includes Boston's renowned Esh Circus Arts and Commonwealth Circus Center, as well as workshops taught across the country. Currently, you can find Robin coaching a variety of classes in Los Angeles at Jagged Vertical Dance and Fitness and AIR Fitness. Robin also is a proud partner with Cirque Party, a mobile circus company that both entertains and pairs instruction of circus with mental health and life skills.
