"What it means to Bee" - Explore the fascinating world of bees at Grand Arcade, as part of our Let's Go Circular Campaign. With hands-on activities, a real hive, and take-home treats, this is the perfect activity for families this May half-term.Discover the fascinating world of bees in this hands-on, family-friendly workshop designed to inspire curiosity and care for our natural environment.
Join us for an engaging session where you’ll explore how bees live, communicate, and support the ecosystems around us.
🐝Get up close with a real beehive and beekeeping equipment.
🌸Take part in sensory activities, and learn how you can help protect pollinators in your own garden or community.
💡Throughout the workshop, you’ll hear bite-sized talks covering everything from the life inside a hive to how honey is made, alongside fun, interactive elements suitable for all ages.
🙋There will also be opportunities to ask questions and deepen your understanding of these incredible creatures.
🛍️Each participant will receive a special goody bag to take home, including wildflower seeds and a small jar of honey, so you can continue supporting bees long after the session ends.

20-minute sessions at 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm

The workshops will take place in the unit between John Lewis and Krispy Kreme, opposite Miele, on the ground floor of Grand Arcade.
