Aktuelle Ausstellung:
"Regenwurmstadt & Maulwurfgarten"
(2009 / 2013)

Present exhibition:
"Earthworm City & Mole Garden"
(2009 / 2013)
by the ohrenhoch-Kids
Audio track and mini model of 'Earthworm City & Mole Garden'
You hear the audio recording of the soundpuzzle installation Earthworm City by the ohrenhoch-Kids (2009, Art Festival 48 Stunden Neukölln). At the same time, the model of the original Earthworm City and of the Mole Garden - created by the ohrenhoch-Kids in 2013 - is presented.
The Sound Gallery 'ohrenhoch, der Geräuschladen' opened in 2008, alongside the school. At the ohrenhoch school, the ohrenhoch-Kids aged 5 to 14 learn, conduct research, and experiment. Drawing on their own ideas, they create fixed-media audio projects - ranging from electroacoustic/acousmatic compositions to performances, field recordings, and sound installations. The educational approach is grounded in treating the ohrenhoch-Kids as equals and as full-fledged members of society.
The mentor of the ohrenhoch-Kids is Knut Remond, Sound Gallery ohrenhoch artistic director.
