Lenten Weekend is an annual event at St. George’s at the beginning of Lent, the forty-day season of spiritual renewal preceding Easter. The weekend of programming considers writing personal stories as a way of accounting for the hope within us, which is part of how we share our faith with one another.
The Rev. Dr. Lauren Winner is an acclaimed writer, professor, and Episcopal priest. Her books include Girl Meets God, Mudhouse Sabbath, Still, and Wearing God. She is practiced in guiding a variety of people, from incarcerated women to divinity school students, to professional authors, in the art of writing their stories.
You can view the complete agenda and register to attend here: www.stgeorgesepiscopal.net/lenten-weekend-2025. Attend all or some of the weekend. Suggested donation for the weekend is $10 - $25, depending on the number of sessions attended.
