Workshop with Fiona Edmondson

Fiona Edmondson is an experienced printmaker and Artist Educator. Originally studying Fine Art painting, she has for many years been fascinated by the qualities and variety of printmaking processes and includes etching, gelli, Lino and collograph printing in her own practice, often combining print and painting in her current work.

• Pencils
• Scissors
• Craft knife and a cutting mat(some will be available, but if you have your own this may be useful)
• Apron
• Resources- you may wish to bring along some images of themes which interest you, for example, plants, creatures and decorative elements. If you have an iPad / phone this may be something you may wish to use, but it is not essential.
• Natural forms such as plants/ flowers/ leaves to use directly on the plates.

• Gelli plates(6x6 inches)
• I nks
• Paper
• Cleaning materials will be provided.

Minimum numbers apply for courses to run. Payment is due in full at the time of booking, either through the shop, phone or online. All sales are final unless transferring to another class in which a difference in price will be paid. Full refunds will be given if the courses cannot take place. If you cannot make the classes for any reason no refunds will be given, however, there may be the option to transfer your booking to an alternative event, please give us a call at Calder Art Supplies at 01484 422991.

Refreshments are available all day (tea, coffee, biscuits etc.) and there will be a lunch break of approximately one hour.

There are plenty of local shops and cafes in the area within close walking distance from the arcade.

Alternatively, you may bring your own lunch.

There is lift access to the studio on the second floor for those with mobility issues. Toilets are located close by on the studio level, however, there is a small flight of stairs to access these. Alternatively, there are also toilets located on one level on the ground floor.

The nearest car park available to the venue is the multi-storey next to Huddersfield bus station. All details are found on the link below. The cost of the car park is £2.00 for 3 hours (all levels) or £4.00 for 10 hours (upper two levels only). There is a lift access from the multi-storey car park for those with mobility issues.
