Dreaming of being your own boss? Starting a business is like taking a leap and then running a marathon.
If you have the drive, self-confidence, and are willing to challenge yourself daily, it may be time to learn some business basics.

In this workshop, we will identify the first steps and cost of starting a food-based business. What licensing do you need and how often do you need to renew your business license? We will discuss the pros and cons of the different Business Structures: Sole Proprietorship, LLC, Partnerships, and Corporations.
As you start your entrepreneur journey, things to think about including a business plan, how to cost out your product, a mission statement, is your product filling a missing niche in the community? Ultimately, what is the profitability and sustainability of your idea?
