About this Event

Mark your calendars for Thursday, July 30, 5:00-8:30pm to join us for an interactive and educational event for local decision-makers. The 2026 St. Croix Workshop on the Water (WOW) will be held aboard a Stillwater River Boat.

The annual St. Croix WOW offers a unique opportunity for community leaders to network, access support from state and local government, and learn about issues such as harmful algal blooms, shoreline and stream restoration, ash tree management, aquatic plants, wake boats and ordinances, and local policy tools. The workshop is designed for city councils, planning commissions, township boards, county commissioners, SWCD and watershed board members, and other local leaders.

This year’s workshop will include a introductory presentations, as well as six learning stations with mini-presentations. Participants will also enjoy dinner, beautiful views of the river, and plenty of time for conversations and networking. See below for a full agenda.

Parking: There is a free first-come-first-serve parking lot behind the Stillwater Boat Tours building. There are a limited number of handicapped spots in that lot. In addition, there is plenty of public parking in the area - Parking Lot Map| Stillwater Boat Tours
