Join us for this exciting two-part series exploring the rich heritage of Philippine traditional garments:
🧵 PART 1: ETHNIC TRADITIONS
Discover the intricate designs and cultural significance behind indigenous Filipino clothing including Ifugao, T'boli, and other ethnic groups' traditional wear.
👗 PART 2: COLONIAL TO CONTEMPORARY
Trace the evolution from Spanish-influenced Maria Clara ensembles to the elegant modern-day Terno, and how these styles reflect Filipino history and identity.
Led by renowned fashion designer and cultural practitioner Iris Viacrusis, this workshop offers a deeper appreciation of the cultural aspects and foreign influences that have enriched Filipino clothing design throughout history.
