Workshop: In Person Tween/Teen Portfolio Preparation

Show artistic skill and personal vision in your application for competitive visual arts high schools or colleges. Work closely with a professional and experienced portfolio advisor while working from life. By the end of this series students will have completed work showing shading and tones, shadow and light and creating volume and facial/body proportion. Gain understanding of and practice with professional artists’ materials including pencil, charcoal, pastel and a variety of papers free of charge. Offered in partnership with San Francisco Recreation and Parks Department. Space is limited, participants must be in middle or high school. NOTE: Participants are expected to attend ALL CLASSES IN THE SERIES. By registering in the first class on Eventbrite, you are registered for all classes, April 8 through May 20 from 5pm-6pm.

To ensure opportunities for new participants, alumni may attend the workshop up to three times in total.
