Knowing what's in your personal care products is so important to health and wellness - and now you can learn the art of soap making and give the gift of non-toxic soap made personally by you at 310 Soap Co's Holiday Soap Making workshop!This is a unique opportunity to really learn the complexities of soap making! You will learn about:
- soap making safety
- soap making chemistry
- fragrance oils versus essential oils
- natural beneficial additives to soap and skincare products
- AND you’ll get to make your own customized soap with 310 Soap Company!
You will make your own soap from raw materials using an immersion blender, oils, and lye, and customizing color, additives, and essential oils from a selection provided by the instructor (you may also make requests in advance). For safety, please wear long pants and closed toed shoes, as we will be working with lye.
You'll take home about 5 months of soap (25 ounces - the equivalent of 5 full size 310 Soap Co bars). If you'd like to make extra soap for gifts, you can add 25 more ounces for only $35! The soap does take time to cure so while you won't be able to use it right away, in about 4 weeks you'll be able to pop it out of the molds and use it or wrap up your handmade made gifts.
About the teacher: Stephanie Warino of 310 Soap Co makes small-batch science-based tallow and goat milk skincare that is COMPLETELY natural with no artificial fragrance, color, additives, preservatives or dyes. 310 Soap Company's products are creatively and scientifically formulated so that artificial preservatives, colorants, additives or fillers are unnecessary.
