Ripartiamo con i Saturday Workshop for Teachers di International House Milano | San Donato con un incontro pratico dedicato a due aspetti fondamentali dell’apprendimento dell’inglese: pronunciation e listening.
Durante le due sessioni, James Blackburn guiderà i partecipanti nell’esplorazione di connected speech, intonation e approcci alternativi al listening, con tecniche e attività da sperimentare e riportare direttamente in classe.
About the workshop
Pronunciation and listening are intrinsically linked, and both are vital elements of successful language learning. Yet they are often areas in which teachers feel they need more support.
In the first of these two 60-minute workshops, we will explore key features of connected speech and intonation, including practical techniques for you to try out in the classroom.
In the second session, we will look at alternative approaches to teaching listening skills, moving beyond the conventional comprehension approach found in many coursebooks.
There will be plenty of practical classroom ideas to take away, so join us and let’s kick off the academic year together in style!
