Workshop | Figure Drawing Intensive - Artistic Anatomy 2-Week

Through active instruction and demonstration by instructor Neal Hanowitz, attendees will have an in-depth exploration of figure drawing with emphasis on surface anatomy, proportion and gesture, followed by free drawing with a live model with guided notes throughout.

Neal encourages attendees to use individual styles and interpretations of the figure while viewing the body in a closer way.

All materials provided, but please bring whatever drawing materials you feel comfortable with. All levels welcome.

Neal Hanowitz is a New York City native has taught a variety of media including painting, sculpture, film animation, and printmaking for the past 27 years. Formal studies at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art and Pratt Institute set a lifetime of art making into motion. He has lived, taught and exhibited in The United States, Switzerland, Zimbabwe, and most recently Myanmar. Now retired and living with his wife, Audrey in Delray Beach, he is slowly becoming immersed in the South Florida arts community.
