Workshop: Exploring the Library of Congress Collections

Join us in GL 220 for a workshop with Allina Migoni, a reference librarian for the American Folklife Center, Library of Congress.
About this Event

Alina Migoni's presentation will provide a general overview of the history and collections of the American Folklife Center at the Library of Congress and offer general research strategies for those beginning their own research projects. By learning to navigate the Library's catalog and extensive online collections, attendees will be able to access and analyze primary sources, including those in the collection "Documenting Goombay and Little Bahamas of Coconut Grove."

This workshop is organized in partnership with FIU Libraries and Humanities Edge.
