Colonised bodies and lands - connecting struggles and emancipatory actions
Come be in conversation with Vasna Ramasar and Sophia Wathne, members of the Collective Against Environmental Racism. They will present perspectives on the connections between bodies and lands in environmental and social justice struggles, from South Africa, to DR Congo, to Sudan, to Palestine, to Denmark, to Kalaallit Nunaat. Situating the conversation within decolonial, anti-racist and ecofeminist thinking, the speakers will highlight theory and practice from the margins, based on their work. The Collective Against Environmental Racism always insists that struggles should be built on an intersectional perspective on gender.
