A 2-day workshop exploring somatic learning, coordination, and improvisation as resources for dance artistry. As a dancer, you already work hard. But effort alone does not always give you more freedom, nuance, or range. This workshop supports you in upgrading the way you organise yourself rather than pushing harder.
Through Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement lessons and guided improvisation, we build a richer internal map of connections that you can draw on in rehearsal, creation, and performance. You will leave with practical somatic tools to return to when you want more choice, less friction, and a clearer pathway from sensation to action.
In Feldenkrais work, 'smaller circles' does not mean smaller movement. It points to more refined organisation: clearer support, better timing, and improved distribution of effort across the whole self.
