Jennifer and Joshua have developed this material to better help understand the ancestors and how to work with them. This class will feature topics on various forms of ancestral medicine. Such as, identifying the importance and implication of the ancestral altar. Identifying the difference in well and unwell ancestors, the different forms our lineage can take outside of just DNA relatives, and the various forms of healing that can take place when working with the ancestors. The class will feature over several journeys. Including journeying to the ancestral meeting place, ways to empower the ancestral senses. Discovering our ancestral totem guides, and healings through one's family tree. Everyone is encouraged to bring a drum and/or rattle. Items needed to journey comfortably, blanket, mask/face covering. A journal, something to leave upon the ancestral altar, this can be as simple as a flower, photograph of a loved one, a favorite book, anything that invokes a connection. Please dress appropriately for all weather as we will be doing some workings outside.
