Come play with us! Our play days are an opportunity to learn and practice the Ease of Handling & Speed obstacles used in Working Equitation. This is a great training opportunity for both experienced and new to WE riders. This play day will be organized into 90 minute sessions. Each group of riders will be allowed open time on the EOH obstacles.
Experienced Working Equitation riders will be available to answer questions and offer tips on proper execution and approach. USAWE Technical Delegate, Kim Shinn, will be available to answer questions on official rules during the session. Expect a focused, practice period with a selection of obstacles. Last 1/2 hr will be dedicated to each rider in the group doing a mini-course.
Ride with your friends, old and new, to improve your knowledge and skills
Receive support and assistance from fellow riders
Horses and riders must be able to safely work in a group at walk & trot:
Working Equitation, a four phase competition which includes Dressage, EOH/Obstacles, Speed and Cattle handling skills, has its foundation in classical Dressage. Learn more about Working Equitation at www.USAWE.org
Cost: • $25 90-min session (per horse/rider)
PLEASE NOTE spaces are limited-all participants must register in advance and pre-pay
You will receive a confirmation text and email of your time slot the week before the event.
Due to demand and group size limitations absolutely no cancelations will be allowed within one week of the event, no exceptions.
Early arrival is encouraged to help set up the course and those in the last group should plan to stay after to help pack up.
