Claire Hair- I am an approved level 3 association instructor, the most northerly based level 3. I have ridden and trained for 50+ years and am a fully insured BHS AI.I discovered working equitation in 2010 shortly after buying my first Lusitano, Sultao, who being an ex-bullfighter had all the skills and started us at advanced level, at that time one of only 3 advanced riders in the UK.
We were shortlisted for the 2018 WAWE world championships in Munich, unfortunately a lorry breakdown prevented our qualification. I continued with Sultao until his retirement and now compete with my other Lusitanos at National level.
This year I was selected to be the northern Mini squad coach and have a promising young rider under my wing.
