Working Equitation of North Carolina is excited to host Robbie Potter, our local NC "cowboy", as he offers instruction in the basics of moving cattle as required as a part of the Cattle Trial in USAWE competitions. During his instructional sessions, Robbie focuses on teaching horsemanship through building a relationship with your horse based on Trust, Respect, Straightness, Balance, and Feel. Robbie conducts his small group sessions in a manner that is beginner friendly as well as challenging to more seasoned horses and riders. He meets the horse and rider where they currently are and guides them to a place of better understanding where they can truly come together and achieve a better partnership. WENC will provide a simple lunch from 11:30am and 1pm. If you have dietary restrictions, it is probably best for you to pack your own lunch. Limited stabling is available for $35/day but understand that the arena's stalls are small and make need to be bedded before moving in (you provide your own shavings).
