As Trump's lifetime of perversions and deteriorating mental and physical health become increasingly apparent each day together with other pro-democracy groups we’ll let his administration and sycophantic MAGAts know that we are actively promoting workers' rights in the struggle to return liberty and justice for all. Trump and his puppet minions are attempting to throw our nation back 100 years (see illustration from 1920s), to when oligarchs and rapacious bosses ruled omnipotent!
Our nation's Constitution embodies principles upon our nation was founded and prospered. And Donald "TACO Two Dolls" Trump has menaced every patriotic and constitutional principle in each administration. He’s actively defying our courts sidelining Congress cracking down on First Amendment-protected voices empowering racism xenophobia and sexism ruining our economy and attempting to stifle anyone in his deviant path.
On September 1 let’s stand together and raise our voices again against Trump’s anti-labor edicts corruption and abuses of power. We will join Ocala Demands Action and by members of regional groups Ocala Blue Dots the Marion County Democratic Party Marion County Young Democrats Ocala-Marion County for Democracy and Marion for Peace to express alarm and anger at the brutal and unconstitutional actions of the Trump regime. Protesters will represent other counties in addition to Marion County including Alachua Volusia Lake Sumter Hernando and Citrus counties.
This marks the ninth local protest held in Ocala since Trump 2.0 – rallies which are each reaching more than a thousand decent souls who show up and attracting state-wide attention.
All these protests have been incited by a series of executive orders by ersatz President Trump including actions led by the ersatz "DOGE" bullies which are eliminating the positive and inclusive role of the federal government and killing thousands in developing countries. We also demand the reinstatement of Diversity Equity and Inclusion initiatives that have been rescinded through racist executive orders.
Ample parking on streets in a 4-block radius and in parking lots are available.
