*We do not want cost to be a barrier to people participating, if you can pay the full asking amount please do. Otherwise there are different discounted ticket options and you can pay what you can. Our priority is participation and education.

6 Oregon and Washington Pesticide Core Credits Available

The Spanish language Worker Protection Standards Interactive Pesticide Handler Training has been specially designed for employees who mix, load, and assist in the application of pesticides along with performing other pesticide related activities such as repairing pesticide application equipment on agricultural establishments, and is also for those who do not hold a pesticide applicator license. This class will be taught by instructors from the Washington State Department of Agriculture.

*On completion of the course, attendees will receive a card that verifies that they have received annual WPS pesticide safety training as pesticide handlers.

Please Note: This will be an in-person training. However, if the weather is bad, we will move the training online to the Microsoft Teams platform. Be prepared to accommodate attending the class online.

El taller de protección al trabajador en español y la capacitación interactiva para aplicadores de pesticidas han sido especialmente diseñadas para empleados que mezclan, cargan y ayudan en la aplicación de pesticidas junto con la realización de otras actividades relacionadas con pesticidas, como la reparación de equipos de aplicación de pesticidas en establecimientos agrícolas. También es para aquellos que no tienen una licencia de aplicador de pesticidas. Esta clase será impartida por instructores del departamento de agricultura del estado de Washington.

*Al finalizar el curso, los asistentes recibirán una tarjeta que verifica que han recibido capacitación anual sobre la seguridad de los pesticidas de WPS como aplicadores de pesticidas.
