People's Inclusive Welding will be hosting an event on Saturday, October 17th in South Portland. The idea behind it is partially in response to the Amber Czech story.
We will be hosting Fay Butler as well as John Bisbee for a morning panel discussion surrounding the current climate within the trades and how men in leadership can begin to help make changes in the language and actions often endured by minorities in the trades.
Following the panel, there will be an afternoon workshop with Fay in which he will demonstrate his renowned skill for shaping metal. We are calling this event "Work Hardened: Reshaping the Trades".
