In this hands on mixed media workshop, we will explore the theme of birds and flight, using a selection of found words and materials to create your own wordy bird to take home. Experimenting with a variety of materials, including cyanotype printing, stitching and collage.
This family friendly 2.5-hr Workshop will take place at the fabulous Tŷ’r Pererin - Education and Pilgrimage Centre, a former Victorian junior school, in St Davids, near the Cathedral and within walking distance of the gallery.
The workshop is suitable for all ages; under 13's must be accompanied by an adult.
Bean is an artist/writer/poet and midwife to The Murmuration of Words project.
Emily Laurens is a multidisciplinary artist, educator, trainee art therapist and creator of marvellous things.
