Words to Live By comes to the Davis Theatre in Concord on May 15 for a powerful 90-minute live experience of music, spoken word, and true stories that move from struggle toward connection and hope.

Created by Jim Love in partnership with the Cabarrus Arts Council and Guerilla Poets, the evening brings nationally and regionally acclaimed artists together to explore mental health with honesty, courage, and art.

Across our region, conversations about mental health matter deeply. On this night, the stage becomes a space where stories are shared openly—and where no one has to sit alone with what they carry.

Each song, poem, and story offers a way to stay—to listen, to speak, to connect.
