Words in Bloom: A Beginner's Block Lettering Workshop
About this Event
Discover the fundamentals of block lettering in this beginner-friendly workshop focused on creating a meaningful typographic composition.
Participants will learn the building blocks of hand lettering by designing a single word of their choice using simple block-letter techniques. Through guided exercises, they will explore letter construction, spacing, hierarchy, and composition before creating a finished black-and-white artwork that reflects their own personality and story.
Whether the chosen word is joy, hope, family, grow, or a word in another language, each participant will leave with a unique piece created entirely by hand.
No previous experience is required, and all materials are provided.
Recommended for ages 12+. Children under 12 must attend with an adult, and both the child and accompanying adult require a ticket.
