The W(H)EALTHY & Word is Bond are proud to present a collaborative event that combines W(H)EALTHY’s Albina History Walks and Word Is Bond’s In My Shoes COMMUNITY 5K into a single event: The Albina Community UNity 5K.
This is an event for the whole community, beginning at Word Is Bond’s new HQ at the American Red Cross, including a special HIIT Pilates class and a 5K walk through the historic Albina neighborhood with a W(H)EALTHY intermission in The Low End, a new community hub powered by 1803 Fund.
Our individual events happened a week apart. Both events were created with the same spirit of bringing community together through movement, history, wellness, and connection, with the same spirit of bringing community together to walk and learn.
By joining forces, we’re creating a stronger shared experience and a blueprint for community unity.
On September 19, two events become one.
