For eight years, Word & Fire Ministries has been committed to proclaiming God's Word with clarity, conviction, and compassion. This anniversary celebration marks more than another year of ministry—it marks eight years of lives transformed by the power of truth.
This year, we're inviting you into a conversation that many people are having but too few churches are leading.
WHOLE: Healing the Mind, Soul, and Spirit is an afternoon dedicated to exploring the connection between biblical faith and emotional wellness. Through sound biblical teaching and professional mental health insight, we'll examine how God desires to heal every part of us—not only our spirit, but also our mind and our emotions.
Hosted by Pastor Willie Taylor, this special anniversary event features keynote presenter Dr. Zerek Mayes, LCSW, who will share practical, faith-centered perspectives on emotional and spiritual health. Joining him is Ms. Donesha Collier, AMFT, who will speak on the unique challenges facing today's youth and young adults, offering hope, practical tools, and encouragement for families navigating today's culture.
Whether you've struggled with anxiety, grief, trauma, depression, burnout, relationship challenges, or simply want to better understand how faith and therapy can work together, this conversation is for you.
