ALL NIGHT BOOGIE BAND
an award-winning blues, rock and soul-inspired band that formed in the Green Mountains of Vermont has vigor and dedication to the resonance of great American music.
Massive, soulful vocals... a powerfully tight rhythm section combine to create a huge blues sound... hints of jazz and soul showcases songwriting and lead singer Jessica Leone's powerful, soulful vocals.
TROY MERCY, Blues Unusualist
Blues Trio with a Rock & Roll Heart
***with Pat Faherty on bass (of Canyon Lights / formerly of GA-20) & Harrison Foti on drums
RIYL: The Black Keys, The White Stripes, GA 20, Marcus King, Led Zeppelin
"The blues-rock landscape is shifting, and Troy Mercy is the one holding the compass. His solo work reveals a songwriter of surprising depth."
-MNPR Magazine, England UK
Elusive Americana & Blues guitarist Troy Mercy performs raw and wild vintage-toned Rock & Roll. It's cracking guitar music surely, but it's his singing and songwriting that stand him a cut above the six-string rabble.
While this album marks his debut solo effort Troy Mercy earned his bones through years of touring with heavies* such as Booker T (of The MGs) & The Fabulous Thunderbirds. He has performed with Blues originators like Hubert Sumlin, Billy Boy Arnold and Pinetop Perkins, and he played guitar on two Grammy-nominated albums with Kim Wilson.
THIS IS BRAVE NEW BLUES? FOR A MEAN OLD WORLD.
