Carer & Child Yoga – Connection, Calm & Co-Regulation

These sessions are a gentle, supportive space for children and their carers to connect through movement, breath, music and mindfulness.

Sessions are playful, inclusive and relaxed, creating opportunities for connection, bonding and shared calm.

Together you will explore:
• simple yoga movements
• breathing techniques to calm the nervous system
• songs and singing to support rhythm, connection and engagement
• mindful activities to support emotional wellbeing

Sessions focus on:
• strengthening the parent-child bond
• supporting emotional regulation
• creating moments of calm in a busy world

No previous yoga experience is needed. All activities are playful, inclusive and designed to feel safe and supportive for both children and adults.

About Laura Lu

I’m Laura, an experienced outdoor practitioner and children’s wellbeing facilitator. I’ve worked with children since 2014, including with The Earth Trust, preschools, and Children in Need, designing and delivering inclusive play and wellbeing programmes.

I helped set up the Bramblewood Project, supporting children who struggle to access education, and I hold a PGCE in Education.

I qualified as a YogaBears Teacher in 2020 and have been weaving rainbow magic through my practice ever since.

Alongside my professional experience, I also bring personal understanding as a parent of a neurodivergent child. This deeply shapes the way I hold space — with empathy, flexibility, and without judgement.
