Woonsocket Community Cleanup near Tractor Supply

Inspired by Alana Gordon, Vallerie Curtis, and Jessica Gagne, we will be doing the third cleanup of this wonderful green space!
We will be cleaning the wooded area between Priscilla Road and Tractor Supply. This wild space needs some TLC for hazard removal and environmental cleanup. A morning-of site assessment will be conducted to determine what items should be cleaned versus what should not.
Visible signage will be posted to direct people through the forested area to the staging area on Priscilla Rd.
Please dress accordingly to the weather. This includes long sleeved shirt, pants, gloves, thick soles shoes, and high visibility clothing.
Pickup tools, trash bags, and 5 gallon buckets will be available. Some extra tools will also be available for the more adventurous. Please register early so you we know how much equipment to bring!
We will go over a safety briefing at the beginning. Please be aware, at even this time, hazards like poison ivy, sharp materials, and stinging insects may be present.
Edit: We re-rescheduled the event from the 27th to Sunday, October 4th, due to a heavy storm coming through. Please stay dry and if there is a third rescheduling due to a storm, consider purchasing a lottery ticket, or you have permission to whine about it.
Please be aware that parking near Priscilla Rd will be limited, so parking along the edge of the wooded area in the Tractor Supply lot may be needed. No trash cleanup activities will occur on this lot.
