Woolworth’s Caramel Apples return to the Pepsi Theater August 27 to 30 for their 67th year as a Mitchell community tradition.
Since 1959, these homemade caramel apples have been part of Corn Palace Week, bringing generations of families back for that familiar taste of Mitchell history. What began as a beloved Woolworth’s tradition continues today thanks to local volunteers who help keep the recipe, the memories, and the community spirit alive.
Located in the heart of festival week, enjoy one of Mitchell’s sweetest traditions on the theater patio all week long, served classic on a stick or in a bowl.
