Wool for the People Open House May 23rd

Join us Saturday May 23 from 1-4pm at the Mill & Dyehouse for our Open House! This is a free to attend, no RSVPs necessary event.We are incredibly excited to be hosting Bigfoot Yarn Company, she will have her incredible hand dyed yarn AND homegrown fiber for sale.

Wool for the People products will also be available for purchase.We will be hosting mill tours at: 1:30pm, 2:30pm, and 3:30pm. The classroom will be open for knitting, crochet, spinning, whatever activities you'd like to bring with you. Our chair situation is limited, so if you plan to stay for a while please consider bringing your own camp chair or the like. If not, you may end up seated on a wool bale.

Come see us, ask us all your questions, and take a look at the space now that it is operational! If you would like to drop off fleece during this event please email us at [email protected] to coordinate prior to arrival.

Accessibility notes: Our exterior doors are heavy but the door to the classroom will be propped open. There are no steps or transitions from the street level into the classroom. We have an ADA accessible bathroom in the classroom space.There are three steps from the classroom into the mill space. If you need to avoid stairs for any reason, there is a separate entrance to the mill around the corner that has a loading bay ramp at our roll up door. Access to this alternative entrance will only be opened upon request for mill tours. Please enter into the classroom space to coordinate.
