Join The Re-Creators for a hands-on woodworking workshop and create your own chopping board from reclaimed native timber. This session offers a practical introduction to working with timber.
Participants will learn the process of shaping, sanding, and finishing timber to create a food-safe chopping board to use at home. You will learn basic workshop tools and techniques and work with The Re-Creators values of repairing, reusing, and giving new life to reclaimed materials.
Tickets include:
- Instruction in basic woodworking techniques
- Guided use of workshop tools including jigsaw, power drill, and sander
- Reclaimed native timber and finishing materials
- Your own chopping board to take home
