Gather 'round for the 15th annual Woodstock Tree Lighting at Homestead Schoolhouse in Woodstock! The event takes place on December 13th from 5-6:30, and the tree is lit at 6 on the dot, followed by caroling.
The following Woodstock businesses are sponsors of the event:
• Otto's grills their famous old- fashion dogs.
• Toast serves up hot biscuits and gravy.
• Homestead schoolhouse operates an ornament making booth. Homestead Teacher's provide the art supplies for crafty ornaments.
• John L Scott helps pay for lights on the tree. They have been doing it for years.
• Woodstock Law Offices supplies s'mores for all the kiddos around the three fire pits.
• Double Mountain will be there for a second year serving a couple of kegs of donated beer.
• Bridge City pizza brings down stacks of their famous pies to give away.
• All Saints Church and Papaccinos Coffee Shop are providing coffee, hot cider and cocoa.
• Bai Mint Thai fries up the best fried rice in the neighborhood and serves it hot.
• Woodstock Neighborhood Association will bring homemade cookies and other baked goods.
ALSO: Santa and his elf will make their usual appearance, and Portland Fire House Station 25 will again brings their trucks by for kids to tour. And we'll say it again because we're so excited to sing - after the tree is lit at 6, there will be caroling.
