Most doulas support clients giving birth in hospitals, but few trainings focus on how to actually navigate those systems.New and practicing doulas are invited to join Javi Avilés-Saez, Evidence Based Birth® Instructor and founder of Radiant Community Centre, for a full-day training that explores the practical skills and systems awareness doulas need when supporting hospital births.
This day brings together two workshops:
Comfort Measures: Learn and practice how to support comfort and mobility within hospital care settings, and gain confidence doula-ing in these spaces.
Savvy Birth: Explore ways to help clients navigate informed consent and refusal while maintaining collaborative relationships with providers.
