WOODLAND WAKEUP - Easter Fun Kids Only Nature Adventure Camp - Milgarholm

Easter holiday wakeups ahoy!

Are you looking for some FREE Easter holiday fun for the kiddies???

We are excited to offer an Easter kids' nature adventure camp, thanks to funding received from The National Lottery. The session in Milgarholm Park, Irvine, is aimed at primary school aged kids but secondary kids that feel more comfortable with younger children are welcome to attend.

Although free tickets are available, we kindly ask that you make a donation if you are in a position to do so. Woodland Wakeup is a charity so relies on grant funding and donations to be able to run. A lot of work goes on behind the scenes to keep us going!

ACTIVITIES & BENEFITS

The session will include activities like fire building and using tools safely, identifying flora and fauna, tightropes and tree-swings, bush-craft and nature art, mindfulness, with lots of opportunities for unstructured play and exploring the woods.

Children are encouraged to choose their own adventure: resilience, confidence, self-esteem, independence and many other qualities can be enhanced by this kind of session, so kids are more able to thrive and be at peace with themselves in our chaotic and ever-changing world.

ASN

All of our sessions are neurodivergent / ASN friendly. Children with mild ASN that can listen / follow instructions and manage themselves independently are welcome to come to the session on their own. Children with more profound needs who require support with behaviour or up to 1:1 care will need to be accompanied by a parent/ carer. Once you have completed your booking please ensure you put the date, times and location in your diary / calendar so you do not forget about the session. IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO ATTEND PLEASE LET US KNOW so that the space can be used by someone else.
