Ashton’s Garden Centre — Helping Build Family Traditions 🌼🧚♀️Step into the magic of Ashton’s Garden Centre with our Woodland Fairy Walk, a joyful, family-friendly experience for children (and grown-ups too!).
Our beautiful riverside and woodland walk will be bursting with spring colour, with thousands of blooming daffodils lighting the way — and for this special event, the woodland will also be home to fairy houses, hidden fairies, and magical surprises along the route.
✨ Keep an eye out as you wander — you never know what you might discover!
The walk itself takes around 30 minutes, but with so many photo opportunities, fairy details to spot, and space to explore, most families spend around an hour enjoying the experience.
And best of all — the Fairy Walk is completely free.
📚 We’re delighted to welcome Michelle Robinson, World Renowned children’s author, who will be joining us for storybook readings during the event (reading times to be confirmed). A perfect chance for little ones to pause, listen, and enjoy some storytelling magic.
🎶 Adding to the enchantment, a harpist will be playing live music during the day (performance times to be confirmed), creating a gentle, fairy-tale atmosphere as you explore the gardens and woodland.
🫧 Free bubble wands for children will be available, adding even more sparkle and fun to the day.
🍴 We expect to have a food truck on site, so you can relax and enjoy a bite to eat during your visit.
🌸 Our greenhouses will also be full of spring delights, including:
Herbs, vegetables & fruit
Spring and summer bedding plants
Ready-made planters & hanging baskets
Perennials, shrubs & trees
A selection of home décor and garden gifts
It’s a perfect day out for families, little ones who love fairies, and anyone who enjoys a gentle woodland walk filled with imagination and colour.
