Woodland Creation – Delivering your EWCO Project

The Forestry Commission and Forest for Cornwall would like to invite you to this informative workshop, intended to be a comprehensive 'how to' on delivering your England Woodland Creation Offer (EWCO) project in accordance with the grant offer.

The workshop is designed to offer post-grant support by providing the information you need for the successful delivery of your project. It will cover the following topics:

• How to manage your project: things you will need to consider
• Understanding your EWCO agreement
• Options for financing your project
• How to deliver your project, including the use of contractors
• Standard cost specifications
• Understanding your additional contributions (ACs)
• Site protection
• Ground preparation options
• Tree planting techniques
• Aftercare

There will also be plenty of time to ask questions . Refreshments and a light lunch will be provided.

The workshop will be suitable for people who are delievering an EWCO agreement, those who have recently submitted or are in the process of submitting an application.
