Hi Members,The New Court replacement is starting soon!
To afford the new court surface, the Club undertook to strip the existing rubber and glue to hand over a clean slab to the Contractor.
We are proposing to undertake on the weekend of the 19th- 21st September.
This is a call out to volunteers to help strip and clean the courts using the equipment sourced for the task. No experience necessary, we'll find a way for all volunteer's to help.
5 Sessions over the weekend.
I'm asking for volunteers to comment here to volunteer for a session and I'll place you on a spreadsheet.
Friday- Court Preparation 4-6pm
Nets Down, Posts out, Tutorial on Scrapers and Grinders. 4-6 people
Saturday- morning session
9-1- Court scraping and Cleaning- 12 people
Saturday afternoon session
1-5pm- Court Scraping and Cleaning- 12 people
Sunday morning Session
9-1pm Court Cleaning- 8 people
1-5pm- Court Cleaning- 8 People.
The club will cater for the crew over the weekend! Let's put this club back together!
