Wooden Mallet Workshop
About this Event
Most formal woodworking education starts with making the tools. This is a staple project for beginner woodworkers building out their own toolkit!
In other words it's a great woodworking project for folks looking to start other woodworking projects!
In the second class session you'll have the opportunity to cusomized your mallet with a laser engraved design of your choosing. If you have a specific design in mind you can bring a black and white digital file or discuss details with the instcutor during the first class session.

- This class is open to any skill levels. There are no prerequisits for this class.
- This class does not provide the level of training to authorize students for independent use of tools in the wood shop.
- Tools used: Jointer, Planer, Tablesaw, Bandsaw, Drum & Disc Sander, Router Table
- The instructor will be avlable to assist with any tool usage you feel uncomfortable with.
About This Instructor: Ben Cline
Ben Cline has been a part of the Technocopia community since 2015. He currently is the steward of the Wood Shop. He has been woodworking for 20+ years and has been formally trained at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD). He also was a former Vice President of the Central New England Woodturners Guild (CNEW.org). He owns his own business (@ClineCraft) as a Home Improvement Contractor.
