Come see the latest and GREATEST iteration of the Wooden Heart Follies, an original musical production written by Von & John Holmes, of Steubenville, OH.
The alien Grumponians envy the joy that Nutcrackers bring, so they plot to abduct them all from Steubenville and extract their joy. But a band of Nutcrackers discover their plot and try to stop them.
Will they succeed? Find out by coming to the 2025 Wooden Heart Follies, Invasion of the Wood Snatchers!
This year we will be performing at Anathan Theatre on the campus of Franciscan University of Steubenville (in the basement of Egan Hall.)
The show will run December 11 through the 14, with 4:30 curtain each night. The show will run just a bit over an hour.
If you haven't seen one of our productions before, we take the familiar holiday music of Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker Suite, and add comic lyrics that bring the nutcrackers of Steubenville Nutcracker Village to life. It is a family-friendly romantic comedy.
