Time: 10am – 4pm

Venue: Building 3 Lions Community Hall, 8 Russell Drysdale St

East Gosford (entrance at the rear of the building)

At this workshop you will learn the basics of Woodblock printing

Are you curious about woodblock printing? Join us for a day of exploration, learning, and creativity!
During this woodblock printing introductory workshop, we will dive into the art of woodblock printing. You'll learn how to prepare your block, explore various techniques for transferring your image, and learn how to carve your desired image into the block.
After lunch we'll print your blocks, in black and white, and experiment with working in two colours.
We will provide guidance on how to select the right tools for woodblock carving, and how to sharpen them.

What do you need to bring

All that is needed for you to bring along is 2 x A6 size images.

Your lunch and a willingness to try something different.
You will need to wear closed in shoes while working in the studio for work health safety reasons. Looking forward to working with you.
