Wood Carving: Faces and Details
About this Event
We will go over the safety of wood carving, as well as the simple shapes that become complex forms. We will be creating a finished piece in class.

About the instructor: Gabe Hurd
I'm a bladesmith, woodcarver, jeweler, leatherworker, tailor, and graphic artist, all self taught. I'll teach anything I know. At age 7 I knew I wanted to be a bladesmith, and have since picked up all the skills to run the process myself, plus some side skills. Each class has no set pace, I teach at the speed of understanding. I try to maintain a relaxed and hands off approach, as I've found that letting people learn by themselves is important.
