Woo Ha: The Man who Saved Ireland
About this Event
The story of Hollywood Hellraiser ‘Woo Ha’ Frank Barrington and his titanic struggle to make The Man Who Saved Ireland, a 1975 war of independence epic shot in the West of Ireland. With financial backing from Whitey Bulger and the Provos, ‘Woo Ha’ is greeted by cheering crowds at Shannon airport. But can he stay off the booze long enough to keep his temperamental cast in line, forestall a mutiny from the extras and survive an intervention from the IRA army council?
A brand new comedy from impressionist and character comedian Liam Hourican (The Savage Eye, Bridget and Eamon, the IT Crowd, The Tracy Ullmann Show, M**der in Succesville) combining live performance with video inserts.
