About this Event

Becoming Birth Ready is an in-person birth preferences workshop suitable for expecting mums and their partners in any stage of pregnancy.

We will explore the ways birth can unfold, including inductions and caesarean. However your birth experience looks, our goal is that you are at the centre of it.

We will take you through the types of birth and options you have to make the environment and care your own, bust common myths and reserve plenty of time for a Q&A with a Doula and a Midwife at the end. We will have examples of a packed hospital bag and some comfort measures in pregnancy and labour. And we will take your birth plan beyond "How do we get the baby out" and into the lead up and postpartum period, making sure you know how you can enter this new chapter with support and confidence.
