WORONORA RIVER RSL CLUB TALENT SHOWCASE: TERMS & CONDITIONS OF PERFORMANCE
By submitting an application or participating in the Woronora River RSL and Citizens Club Talent Showcase (the "Event"), the performer ("Artist") agrees to the following terms and conditions:
1. Performance & Scheduling
Set Length: The Artist will be allocated a strict 3-7 minute performance slot.
Call Time: Artist must arrive at the venue and check in with the Stage Manager at least 90 minutes before the commencement of the Showcase. Late arrival may result in forfeiture of the performance slot.
Technical Setup: The Venue provides standard house sound and lighting. The Artist must bring their own instruments, backing tracks (on a formatted USB), and specific performance props.
2. Compensation & Future Bookings
Unpaid Exposure: The Artist acknowledges that this showcase is a promotional, non-paid performance opportunity. No financial compensation, travel expenses, or accommodation will be provided by the Venue.
Future Bookings: Participation does not guarantee future employment. Potential future paid bookings are solely at the discretion of the Venue’s booking management team based on performance quality, professionalism, and crowd response.
3. Content, Recording, & Promotion
Crowd Video Rights: The Artist is highly encouraged to invite guests to record and photograph their performance. The Artist grants the Venue permission to use any crowd-sourced or in-house media featuring the Artist for promotional purposes on social media and website platforms.
Content Restrictions: Performances must not contain explicitly hazardous stunts, open flames, illegal substances, excessive swearing or hate speech. The Venue reserves the right to stop any performance that violates venue safety protocols.
4. All-Ages Attendance & Venue Conduct
No Age Limit: This Event is open to performers and guests of all ages.
Minor Supervision: Any performers or audience members under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times while on the premises.
Code of Conduct: The Artist and their guests must treat all Venue staff, security, and other performers with respect. Intoxication, aggressive behaviour, or failure to follow staff instructions will result in immediate removal from the venue and cancellation of the performance.
Dress Code: All performers and their guests must respect the Club’s dress code. No torn jeans, thongs or hats are to be worn. Be your best self.
5 Registration
Children under the age of 12 can register to enjoy the experience of performance and will be given an early time slot.
