Children and families will learn through movement, song, story, and craft about African American hair expression as a part of culture, symbolism and self-worth. Children and families will have an opportunity to explore while celebrating that we are all wonderfully made.This special storytime will be led by Monica Jennings Woodard, a community activist who loves her heritage and enjoys sharing about Black History while cultivating community.
